2022 School Health Profiles Support

Hello Health, Safety and Physical Education Community!

I am currently in the process of completing the 2022 School Health Profiles Survey.  CDC has selected multiple schools to participate in the National Survey.  The information collected for this survey will help us identify needs around school policies, procedures, curriculum, and professional development offerings.

PDE will be using the results of the survey to provide future professional development opportunities and provide resources to all schools.  Please look at the new 2022 School Health Profiles folder in the Content Repository to see if your school was selected.  We have a web-based version of the survey (contact me for details) or PDF versions available in the folder to print, fill out, and return to [email protected].

If you would like to do the web-based version, please contact me for your login credentials.  The survey has been extended to next Friday, April 22 2022.  If you know of a school that is on the list and they are not a member of the community, please forward this information to them.  The survey is only recommended for schools listed in the folder.

Follow the steps below to see if your school was selected by CDC.
Step 1:  Please go to https://www.pdesas.org/ and log in on the upper right side of the webpage.
Step 2: Find the Health, Safety, and Physical Education Professional Learning Community.
Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom of the home page and go to the Content Repository button.
Step 3:  Go to the 2022 School Health Profiles Folder to review each document.

CDC will be providing PDE with funding for this survey.  We look to use the funding for potential training opportunities for all health/physical education teachers in PA.  We hope to receive an additional 120 physical education surveys and 110 administrator surveys to meet our goal of a 70% completion rate for our state.  I appreciate all that you continue to do for our schools and students.
