Take time to Celebrate & Appreciate!

We love celebrating and honoring our award winners and have time set aside to do so! Don't miss these great opportunities at the state conference:

Linda Woods Huber Appreciation Awards   Awards Celebration
Thursday, Oct 26, 6:00 pm   Thursday, Oct 26, 7:00 pm

One of our favorite conference traditions! Take the time to show appreciation for a colleague, family member, or friend! Awardees are presented with their award, written in your words with the option to be presented by you at the award ceremony  This is the perfect place to recognize a colleague who is an unsung hero, a student who has gone above and beyond, or just show someone how much you appreciate them!

Join us to celebrate our Teachers of the Year and Association Award Winners as we honor:

  • Teachers of the Years
  • Violet Baumgardner Scholars

Our Mission

The Mission of SHAPE PA is to provide leadership, advocacy, and professional development to health and physical educators.  One of the best opportunities to practice our mission occurs annually at our statewide conference where hundreds of health and physical educators come together to learn, network, and recharge their passion for the profession while earning valuable professional development hours.  We will provide attendees with over 35 session topics over a two-day time period, allowing attendees to earn up to 9.5 professional development hours.
